Alex Eala of the Philippines will face Kayla Day of the United States in the semifinals of the Guadalajara 125 Open in Mexico, Saturday, 2 a.m. (Philippine time).

Eala is coming off back-to-back wins on Friday, both secured just hours apart, against American Varvara Lepchenko in the Round of 16 and Italy’s Nicole Fossa Huergo in the quarterfinals.

Day, meanwhile, advanced to the semifinals after defeating Emiliana Arango in the quarterfinals.
