Prince Joey Lee and Maricar Camacho ruled the 21K race of Midnight Run Asia’s Manila leg held Sunday at the Mall of Asia grounds.
Lee topped the men’s division with a time of 1 hour, 10 minutes, and 28 seconds, while Camacho dominated the women’s side after clocking in at 1 hour, 28 minutes, and 50 seconds.

In the 10K race, Daniel Jorge Cadavos registered a time of 38 minutes to take first place, followed by Joed Alegre (39:39) and Nicanor Mabao Jr. (42:35). Among the women, Maria Jonna Lina Abutas (44:36), Hazel Mata (45:09), and Meg Genuinio (51:52) were the top three finishers.
Mark Anthony Oximar clocked 18 minutes and 10 seconds to win the men’s 5K race, with Mon Teruel (19:15) and Jeffrey Reginio (19:27) placing second and third, respectively. On the women’s side, Jo Punay led the pack with 24 minutes and 19 seconds, followed by Maricric Naciluan (27:53) and Joanalista Diones (29:04).
The Manila leg of the HOKA Midnight Run drew nearly 18,000 runners, who took to the streets past midnight — a stark contrast to most races typically held in the early morning.
The event will also be staged in Davao and Cebu in the coming weeks.
