Sanji's rare savage tows Team Liquid past AP.Bren in MPL PH Season 16

Alston "Sanji" Pabico secured a rare savage to propel the surging Team Liquid to a 2-0 win over AP.Bren in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 16 on Sunday. 

The multi-titled midlaner pulled off the in-game feat during a 19th-minute lord dance in Game 1, kickstarting a personal five-man wipeout by eliminating xNova’s Grock with his Zhuxin pick. 

He followed it up by taking down JamesPangks’ Lancelot and Aqua’s Kimmy before slaying shizou’s Harith and LordJM’s Uranus, allowing the Cavalry to close out the series opener without even needing the Lord.

Sanji bagged MVP honors after flaunting a near-perfect KDA of six kills and five assists against one death. 

AP.Bren responded by banning Zhuxin in Game 2, forcing Sanji onto Selena instead. The adjustment hardly slowed him down, dishing out seven assists to fuel jungler Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s Lancelot and gold laner Kiel “Oheb” Soriano’s Granger.

The win sent the reigning MSC champions to their third straight win for an improved 5-2 card while AP.Bren fell to 2-5 as both teams closed out the first half of the regular season. 

Onic defeats TNC

In the other game, Onic Philippines fended off TNC to complete a 2-1 victory and likewise improve to 5-2 in the team standings. 

Jungler Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez took charge in their Game 1 victory by wreaking havoc on the Lancelot, dropping six kills and two assists, before gold laner Duane "Kelra" Pillas starred in Game 2 with seven kills and one assist on Granger.
