Edsel Moral, Edna Magtubo rule 16K race of Metro Manila 10 Miler Makati leg


Edsel Moral and Edna Magtubo ruled the 16K race of the Metro Manila 10 Miler Series’ Makati leg last Sunday.

Moral earned another podium finish in the men’s division, this time clinching the top spot, as he clocked in at 55 minutes and five seconds. He previously finished second in the Muntinlupa leg. Meanwhile, Welmer Jack Labrador (56:32) and Justin Lu (1:08:28) rounded out the podium.

In the women’s division, Magtubo claimed the top spot once again, finishing with a time of 1:05:02. She was closely followed by Jessa Mae Roda (1:05:03) and Nhea Ann Barcena (1:06:26).

In the men’s 10K, Roy Laudit continued his dominance, clocking in at 32:55. He also topped the Parañaque leg with a time of 32:15. Cronie Melliza (34:30) and Justin Labrador (41:17) completed the podium. In the women’s 10K, Shiekhy Heart Supremo took the win with a time of 43:26, followed by Camille Santos (51:05) and Madeleine Easter (52:47).

The 5K men’s podium finishers were Jevie Rebutazo (17:01), Takuya Nishio (17:55), and Luka Donovan Bueta (20:33). In the women’s division, Lezamy Sanita (20:33), Criselda Del Rosario (24:24), and Jodee Guinevere Glifonea (25:20) secured the top three spots.

The Rexona Metro Manila 10 Miler Series will hold its final leg on November 23 in Quezon City.
