Alexandra "Alex" Eala is set to open her campaign at the Jingshan Tennis Open 2025 against Aliona Falei of Belarus in the tournament’s first round.

Eala is scheduled to face Falei on Tuesday, around 12:10 p.m. (Philippine time).

Who is Aliona Falei?

Aliona Falei is a 21-year-old player from Belarus. She is currently ranked World No. 322 in the WTA rankings.

Last year, Falei reached the quarterfinals of the WTA 125 Oeiras. Back in May, also last year, she reached her career-high in rankings at no. 173.

Eala's recent results

Eala, currently ranked World No. 58, is coming off a quarterfinal finish at the SP Open in Brazil, where she lost to Janice Tjen.

The year 2025 has been a breakthrough year for the 20-year-old from the Philippines. Highlights of her season include:
