Carlos Yulo wins vault gold at World Championships

Carlos Yulo captured another medal in the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, this time a gold, as he ruled the men’s vault finals on Saturday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Olympic champion, who also topped the vault event at the 2024 Paris Olympics, scored an average of 14.866 to secure the title.

This is Yulo’s second medal in the Jakarta meet, following his bronze in the floor exercise finals on Friday.

The win also marked Yulo’s third World Championships gold, having ruled floor exercise in 2019 and the vault in 2021.
