Alex Eala, Hao-Ching Chan fall to Rakhimova, Sasnovich in Hong Kong Open doubles

Alexandra “Alex” Eala and Hao-Ching Chan of Chinese Taipei made an early exit in the Hong Kong Open doubles tournament.

On Monday, the pair bowed to Kamilla Rakhimova of Russia and Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus, 6–3, 1–6, 10–7, in the Round of 16.

Eala will now shift her focus to the singles draw, where she is set to face Katie Boulter of Great Britain.

The Hong Kong Open, a WTA 250 tournament, serves as Eala’s final event of the season.
