Carlos Yulo’s gold and other medals in the World Gymnastics Championships
Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo added another gold medal to his collection on Saturday, this time in the vault finals of the World Gymnastics Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia.
It was a masterclass in vault for Yulo, who scored an average of 14.866 points to claim the gold medal. His first vault was even rated 15.200, further cementing his victory.

In the recent Worlds alone, Yulo secured two medals, also bagging a bronze in the floor exercise finals.
Overall, this is Yulo’s third World Championships gold medal, following his victories in floor exercise (2019) and vault (2021).
In total, Yulo has now amassed eight medals from the World Championships — a testament to his world-class talent.
