After ONE exit, Stephen Loman makes BRAVE CF comeback
Filipino mixed martial artist Stephen Loman is returning to where his rise to prominence first began.
The 30-year-old striker has officially inked a multi-fight deal with Bahrain-based BRAVE Combat Federation, just two days after confirming his departure from ONE Championship.
“I am extremely happy to be back home with BRAVE CF,” Loman said. “I am grateful to BRAVE CF for welcoming me back and giving me the chance to continue my journey in the organization that helped me grow as a fighter. Yes, I’m happy to say that I’m back home.”
Loman made his name under the BRAVE CF banner, where he compiled a perfect 6-0 record. “The Sniper” captured the promotion’s inaugural bantamweight world title in November 2017 after stopping Canada’s Gurdarshan Mangat via first-round technical knockout.
BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid welcomed the Ifugao native’s return, describing him as “more than just a former world champion” and “one of the finest athletes to ever compete in our cage.”
His comeback to BRAVE follows his exit from ONE, where he last competed in 2023.
In a social media post, Loman thanked the Asia-based promotion for his three-year stint. “I leave ONE Championship with gratitude, respect, and nothing but good memories,” the Lions Nation MMA standout wrote.
ONE Championship released its own statement describing the parting as a mutual decision. “We deeply appreciate his professionalism, dedication, and the impact he made inside the Circle. We wish Stephen nothing but continued success in his future endeavors.”
