Justin Kobe Macario wins PH's first 2025 SEA Games gold medal from poomsae

Justin Kobe Macario ruled the men's freestyle poomsae event to bag the Philippines' first gold medal in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday in Thailand.

Macario scored 8.200 to place first, besting bets like Atchaiya Koedkaew of Thailand and Ken Haw Chin of Malaysia.

The Philippines now has one gold and one bronze as John Derick Farr earlier got the country's first medal, a bronze, in mountain bike downhill.
