Jiujitsu’s Kim Custodio, Dean Roxas win golds in 2025 SEA Games

Jiujitsu's Kim Custodio and Dean Roxas captured gold medals in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games on Thursday in Thailand.

Custodio topped the jiujitsu women’s ne-waza 48kg event, while Roxas clinched the men’s ne-waza 85kg gold.

These add to the country’s gold-medal haul, following two victories on Wednesday from Justin Kobe Macario in poomsae and the swimming team in the 4x100m women’s freestyle relay.

Earlier, Geli Bulaong secured a gold medal in the women’s modern-60kg event after defeating her Indonesian opponent in the finals of the demo sport. However, because it is a demo sport, the medal will not be included in the official tally of the Games.
