John Cabang Tolentino breaks SEA Games record in men's 110m hurdles for gold

John Cabang Tolentino broke the Southeast Asian Games record in men's 110m hurdles as he clocked 13.66 seconds to rule the said event on Friday in Thailand.
The previous record was at 13.69 seconds held by Jamras Rittidet of Thailand from the 2015 SEA Games.
Singapore's Chen Xiang Ang placed second with 13.75 seconds, while Malaysia's Abdul Latif Mohamad Armin Zahryl finished third with 13.85 seconds.
This is the country's 10th gold medal in the ongoing biennial meet and fifth for Friday alone after victories from the Philippine baseball team, Tachiana Mangin (taekwondo), John Ivan Cruz (gymnastics), and Kayla Sanchez (swimming).
