Chino Sy-Tacontian rules men’s judo 100kg for SEA Games gold

Chino Sy-Tacontian ruled the men’s judo 100kg finals in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games after defeating Gede Ganding Kalbu Soethama of Indonesia on Saturday in Thailand.

Sy-Tacontian defeated his Indonesian foe via ippon to claim the country’s 12th gold medal.

This is also the Philippines’ first gold medal in today’s events.
