Jones Inso delivers another wushu gold in 2025 SEA Games

Jones Llabres Inso took home another gold medal in wushu for the Philippines after ruling the men's taijiquan - taijijian finals of the 2025 SEA Games on Monday in Thailand.

Inso tallied a total score of 19.563 points after garnering 9.780 in taijiquan and 9.783 in taijijian to ultimately rule the 13-man field that included his compatriot Alexander Gabriel De Los Reyes.

The victory redeemed Inso from his heartbreak back in the 2022 edition in Vietnam, where he settled for silver in taijijian and bronze in taijijian. He also captured a taijijian silver in the 2019 edition in Manila.

Inso's gold medal run gave the Philippines its second gold medal in wushu in the ongoing biennial meet after Agatha Wong's title run in the same event in the women's division.

Wong captured her sixth overall SEA Games gold medal.
