PH bets bag four gold medals in SEA Games practical shooting
A medal rush came for the Philippines as four athletes delivered gold medals in the 2025 SEA Games practical shooting tournament on Monday at the Eastern National Sports Training Center in Chonburi, Thailand.
Erin Mattea Micor, Rolly Nathaniel Tecson, Genesis Pible, and Edcel John Gino ruled their respective events to hike the country's gold medal tally.
Micor reigned supreme in the women's open practical shooting by collecting 1,399.3154 points while Tecson clinched the title in men's open standard with a 1,680.7889 points to edge out another Pinoy bet Adrian Viray (1,625. 2256).
Pible defeated hometown bet Thanawadee Perkyam of Thailand in the women's production optic individual finals, tallying 1,293.7900 as the Thai bet scored 1,289. 7216 to settle for silver.
In the men's production optic individual finals, a Filipino emerged on top as well with Gino tallying 1,654.0344, beating Thailand's Phiranat Tanpairoh who scored 1,563.3136.
