Physical: Asia star Robyn Brown wins silver, Olympian Lauren Hoffman takes bronze in SEA Games 400m hurdles


SEA Games 2025: PH's Robyn Brown and Lauren Hoffman with Vietnam's Quach Thi Lan

The Philippines secured two medals in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games women's 400m hurdles event courtesy of Robyn Brown and Lauren Hoffman.

Brown, who was part of the Philippine team in the Netflix show Physical: Asia, finished in 57.50 seconds to finish second and clinch the silver medal in the event. In the 2023 edition of the SEA Games, she also took silver in the same event as well as in the 4x400m women's relay.

Hoffman, who represented the country in the 2024 Paris Olympics, took third and the bronze medal with a 57.75 time.

Both Filipinas, though, finished behind Vietnam's Quach Thi Lan, who finished in 56.82 to win gold.

Also competing in the finals were Thailand's Arisa Weruwanarak and Malaysia's Goh Mandy Li.

Also in athletics, the Philippine team composed of Jessica Laurence, Lianne Pama, Zion Nelson, and Kristina Knott won a bronze medal in the women's 4x100 relay.

They finished with a time of 43.97 to finished third behind Thailand and Vietnam.
