Alexandra “Alex” Eala flexed her might in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games after a dominant 6-1, 6-2, win against Mananchaya Sawangkaew of Thailand in the gold medal match on Thursday.

Crucial matches are taking place today at the Southeast Asian Games in Thailand, with Alex Eala aiming for a gold medal in the women’s singles tournament, while both the men’s and women’s Gilas Pilipinas squads compete in the semifinals.

The Philippine Men’s National Football Team will also battle Malaysia for the bronze medal, while the Alas Pilipinas Men face Thailand in the semifinals.
