2025 SEA Games: Michael Ver Comaling wins gold in modern pentathlon

Michael Ver Comaling added to the Philippines’ medal haul at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games by winning gold in modern pentathlon on Thursday.

Comaling ruled the men’s triathle individual event, clocking 14:10.17 to outlast Indonesians Farras Satrio Aris and Graha Rizky Taruna, who settled for silver and bronze, respectively.

The Philippines now has 41 gold medals as the biennial meet heads into its final weekend.
