IN PHOTOS: 2025 SEA Games closing ceremony
The 2025 Southeast Asian Games hosted by Thailand concluded on Saturday at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, with athletes from across the region in attendance at the closing ceremony.
At the end of the biennial meet, the host country collected 233 gold medals, 154 silvers, and 112 bronzes for a total of 499 medals.
The Philippines, meanwhile, finished with 50 golds, 73 silvers, and 154 bronzes, placing sixth overall behind Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.

During the closing ceremony, gold medalist and boxer Eumir Marcial served as the Philippines’ flag bearer.
Hosting duties were also formally handed over to Malaysia, which will stage the 2027 edition of the regional multi-sport event.
