MLBB: Team Liquid nears M7 knockout stage after toppling Team Falcons

Team Liquid's dominance is once again on full display after pulling off a decisive 1-0 win against Team Falcons to remain unbeaten at the M7 World Championship Swiss Stage on Sunday In Jakarta, Indonesia. 

The Filipino squad fended off an early momentum built by the Saudi Arabian organization before staging a clinic down the stretch to go 2-0 in the tournament. 

With the win, the Cavalry, the reigning back-to-back MPL Philippines champions and defending MSC winner, moved a win away from booking a knockout stage ticket. 

Midlaner Alston "Sanji" Pabico picked up where he left off from yesterday's showing against compatriot Aurora Gaming, unleashing two kills and six assists on Pharsa this time around to help preserve Team Liquid's immaculate run so far. 

An early pick-off on Team Falcons' roamer Trolll (Mathilda) saw Sanji drawing the first blood within the first two minutes, but Team Falcons was quick to turn things around by securing the first turtle objective and taking down three TLPH players in the next sequence. 

Team Liquid, though, proved its adaptability with gold laner Kiel "Oheb" Soriano (Claude) unloading the Blazing Duet at the 11th minute mark, leading to a two-man wipe for the Filipinos as the Lord marched on at the bottom lane. 

Team Falcons was still able to stage a defense but jungler Karl "KarlTzy" Nepumeceno (Nolan) unloaded a double kill before slaying the next Lord without any resistance. 

That proved to be the turning point, as Team Falcons failed to hold their base this time, with Team Liquid dominating the decisive team fight to seal the victory.
