MLBB: Aurora Gaming continues M7 surge with crucial win vs. Team Zone

Aurora Gaming seized its second straight victory in the M7 World Championship Swiss Stage, taking down Team Zone of Mongolia, 1-0, on Monday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Philippine bets leaned on early havoc from exp laner Edward "Edward" Dapadap before the rest of the squad finished off the Mongolian squad.

The win placed Aurora Gaming on the cusp of the knockout stage, where only eight of the 16 teams will advance.

Edward, playing in his fifth straight world championship appearance, made a statement early in the game by unleashing six kills within the first five minutes that gave his team an early upperhand over wildcard winner Team Zone.

By the 16th minute mark, Aurora Gaming had already taken down all but one of Team Zone’s turrets. A combination of a conceal play from roamer Dylan "Light" Catipon (Khaleed) and a Real World Manipuation from Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo (Yve) allowed Jan "Domengkite" Delmundo (Claude) to pick off Team Zone's jungler Zxaura (Leomord).

That proved to be the most crucial exchange as Aurora Gaming secured a free Lord in the next sequence.

Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto (Fredrinn) will fall during the final team clash, but Domengkite proved to be too much for the Mongolians with his double kill act as Aurora completed the victory to bolster their M7 playoff hopes.
