MLBB: Aurora Gaming outlasts SRG, punches M7 Grand Finals ticket
JAKARTA—Aurora Gaming moved closer to capturing the Philippines’ sixth straight Mobile Legends: Bang Bang title after stunning SRG, 3-2, in the M7 World Championship upper bracket finals on Thursday.
The win sent Aurora to the grand finals while dragging the Malaysian champions to the lower bracket.
A Game 4 win keyed Aurora’s reverse sweep win with exp laner Edward “Edward” Dapadap sparking the four-man wipeout, picking off Stormie’s Pharsa with his Yu Zhong during a Lord dance at the 21st minute.
Demonkite, using a utility jungler with Fredrinn, then unleashed a double kill as Aurora didn’t even need the Lord objective to finish it off and level the series to two games apiece.
Demonkite then went for another utility pick during the clincher, unveiling Akai that proved to be crucial for the Filipinos.
It took five Lords to put the game away with Demonkite securing the last one after two enemy heroes went down. That set the stage for the game-winning push as Aurora booked the first M7 grand finals spot.
