Senate commends Aurora Gaming PH after ruling M7 World Championship
Aurora Gaming Philippines was honored by the Philippine Senate on Tuesday following its stellar triumph at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M7 World Championship held last week in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The squad paid a courtesy call to the Senate after extending the Philippines’ dominance in the prestigious tournament, sweeping host nation Indonesia’s Alter Ego in the grand finals to secure the country’s sixth consecutive world championship title.
The chamber adopted Senate Resolution No. 276, formally congratulating and commending Aurora Gaming for capturing its first-ever world title after enduring a series of heartbreaking finishes in both local and international competitions.
The resolution was authored by Senator Bam Aquino, a known advocate of the esports and gaming industry.
The quintet of Edward "Edward" Dapadap, Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo, Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto, Jan "Domengkite" Delmundo, and Finals MVP Dylan "Light" Catipon was present during the visit. Head coach Aniel "Master The Basics" Jiandani and analyst Dexter "Dex Star" Alaba were also in attendance.
