Alex Eala at the Dubai Tennis Championships: Schedule and Draw

Alexandra “Alex” Eala returns to action on Sunday as she begins her campaign at the Dubai Tennis Championships.

In the Round of 64, Eala will face Hailey Baptiste of the United States.

Baptiste, currently ranked world No. 39, is coming off a 3-6, 5-7 loss to Rebecca Sramkova in the qualifiers but was still awarded a spot in the main draw.

Eala, meanwhile, is looking to bounce back after a first-round defeat to Tereza Valentova at the Qatar Open last Monday.
