2026 Winter Olympics: PH’s Tallulah Proulx finishes 50th in women’s slalom to wrap campaign

Filipina Olympian and alpine skier Tallulah Proulx placed 50th overall in the women’s slalom to conclude her stint in the 2026 Winter Olympics on Wednesday at the Tofane Alpine Skiing Centre.

The 17-year-old Proulx clocked 1:02.93 in the first run to rank 61st, then improved in the second run with a time of 1:05.55 to wind up 50th overall. Her combined time of 2:08.48 secured her final placement in the event.

American Mikaela Shiffrin captured the gold medal with a total time of 1:39.10. Switzerland’s Camille Rast finished second in 1:40.60 to take silver, while Sweden’s Anna Swenn Larsson claimed bronze in 1:40.81.

Proulx’s result capped the Philippines’ campaign in the Winter Games. She previously placed 52nd in the women’s giant slalom.

Fellow Filipino Olympian Francis Ceccarelli finished 54th in the men’s giant slalom and recorded a DNF (Did Not Finish) in the men’s slalom.
