Vincent Avestruz, Juevelyn Ratunil rule 10K race of Doraemon Run

Around 10,000 fans and runners joined the fun at the Doraemon Run last Sunday at the Mall of Asia Complex, with Vincent Arvin Avestruz and Juevelyn Ratunil ruling the 10K races.

Avestruz topped the men’s division after clocking 33 minutes and 30 seconds. Neil Maramba finished second in 34:51, while Nelson Rodique placed third in 42:27.

Ratunil, meanwhile, dominated the women’s division with a time of 52 minutes and 25 seconds. She was followed by Aileene Martinez (54:23) and Carol Mallari (56:34).

In the 5K race, Justwin Guerrero led the men’s division with a time of 17:19. Mark Biagtan placed second in 17:57, while John Amiel Buenviaje secured third in 19:43.

Jo Punay topped the women’s 5K race in 22:10. Marjorie Denise Manguiat also clocked 22:10 to finish second, while Cristelle Cristelle came in third with 26:01.

Cavin Vidal ruled the men’s 3K race with a time of 11:06, followed by Ganimid Alvarez Jr. (12:37) and Vincent Florentino (13:25). In the women’s division, Karla Marie Superiano led the way in 16:20, with Joanne Melanio (17:12) and Tiara Medina (18:02) completing the podium.

In the 1K race, Hanz Roxas was the fastest among the male runners with a time of 2:48. Rodrigo Puda and James Roldan followed, both finishing in 2:50. In the women’s division, Xeanna George Baarde topped the field in 3:39, ahead of Kaela Martin (4:17) and Midori Morita (4:20).
