Hadji takes flight with Team Falcons as Pheww exits ahead of MPL Season 17

From one legend to another.

In a stunning roster move, Team Falcons has parted ways with renowned midlaner Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel and enlisted fellow icon Salic “Hadji” Imam ahead of MPL Philippines Season 17 that kicks off March 20.

Team Falcons officially unveiled its new lineup, with Hadji bolstering an already-stacked roster of exp laner David Charles "Flap" Canon, jungler Michael "Kyle" Sayson, gold laner Marco "Super Marco"Requitiano, and roamer Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo.

Hadji's arrival marks a new era for Team Falcons.

Pheww was a celebrated figure for Team Falcons, whose core previously competed under AP.Bren. The veteran midlaner played a pivotal role in steering Bren to the M2 World Championship title and AP.Bren to the M5 crown, becoming one of the select few players in history to win two world championships.

Pheww is also part of MPL Philippines' Hall of Legends together with the likes of Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario and Jonmar "OhMyV33NUS" Villaluna.

With Pheww out, Team Falcons turn the page as Hadji takes over the midlane duties.

Hadji recently parted ways with Smart Omega and now looks to add to his trophy collection with a championship-caliber squad.

The veteran midlaner boasts two MPL titles, having won Seasons 8 and 10 with Blacklist International, and also played a key role in their M3 World Championship triumph in 2021.
