Stephen Loman, Drex Zamboanga hope to fight on same BRAVE CF card in 2026
Filipino fighters Stephen Loman and Drex Zamboanga are hoping to compete on the same card in BRAVE Combat Federation as they anticipate returning to action in the second quarter of 2026.
The two were among the promotion’s key signings in 2025, strengthening the Philippine presence in the Bahrain-based MMA organization.
“We were together under a different promotion before, but I never got the chance to fight on the same card with Drex,” said Loman. “Now that we are both here, I hope we can showcase Philippine pride together.”
Zamboanga echoed the sentiment, saying it would be special for Filipino fans to see them compete in the same event.
“It would be even better if we compete on the same card. I know many Filipinos will be tuning in, and it will be a moment to celebrate our country together,” he said.
Both fighters last competed under the banner of ONE Championship in 2023. Loman battled former UFC star John Lineker in a bantamweight title eliminator, while Zamboanga dropped a narrow split decision to China’s Rui Chen.
Loman is no stranger to BRAVE CF, having fought in its inaugural event in 2016. “The Sniper” went on to become the promotion’s first-ever bantamweight world champion a year later. He returned to the promotion late in 2025 after four years away.
Zamboanga, on the other hand, joined the company in February 2025. The former URCC bantamweight champion hopes their presence can further boost Filipino representation in the promotion.
