How many ranking points and how much prize money did Alex Eala earn at Indian Wells?

Alexandra “Alex” Eala wrapped up her campaign at the Indian Wells Open on Wednesday after falling to Linda Noskova in the Round of 16, 2-6, 0-6.

By reaching the Round of 16 of the WTA 1000 tournament, Eala earned 120 ranking points, which are expected to boost her standing ahead of the Miami Open.

Eala previously gained a significant boost in the rankings during last year’s Miami Open, where she made a deep run and collected 390 points.

The Filipina tennis star is currently ranked No. 32 in the world with 1,432 points prior to the Indian Wells results being officially reflected in the rankings.

According to the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), rankings are determined through a rolling 52-week cumulative system, with a player’s results from a maximum of 18 tournaments counting toward their singles total.

Aside from the ranking points, Eala also earned $105,720 in prize money for reaching the Round of 16 in Indian Wells.

Prior to the tournament, the WTA reported that Eala had already earned $291,992 in prize money for the 2026 season alone.
