MPL Season 16: Oheb of Team Liquid

Kiel ‘Oheb’ Soriano has opened a new chapter in his esports career, bringing his talents to Honor of Kings after a storied run in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang that saw him win multiple titles here and abroad.

The veteran gold laner was formally welcomed to Honor of Kings on Saturday, ending weeks of speculation about Oheb’s next move after his indefinite break from MLBB.

Oheb is a celebrated figure in MLBB. He was part of Blacklist International's renowned 'Main Five' core alongside Danerie "Wise" Del Rosario, Johnmar "OhMyV33Nus" Villaluna, Edward "Edward" Dapadap, and Salic "Hadji" Imam.

Oheb helped Blacklist win back-to-back titles in Seasons 7 and 8 before repeating the feat in Season 10. They also ruled M3 World Championship where Oheb was honored as the Finals MVP.

Oheb then transferred to Team Liquid, joining the likes of Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno and Alston "Sanji" Pabico as they reigned supreme in Seasons 15 and 16. With TLPH, Oheb also secured his maiden MSC trophy when they captured the crown in 2025.

But shortly after Team Liquid's M7 World Championship run, Oheb announced that he submitted his resignation from Team Liquid before sharing that he's taking a break.

Oheb became the latest MLBB star to transition to Honor of Kings after Tristan "Yawi" Cabrera, Renejay "Renejay" Barcase, and John Paul "H2WO" Salonga.
