World No. 4 Iga Swiatek and Filipina tennis star Alexandra ‘Alex’ Eala reunited at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Spain as they gear up for their upcoming tournaments.

The Rafa Nadal Academy social media page posted their photo on Saturday.

Eala and Swiatek previously crossed paths at the academy in 2023 during the Filipina’s graduation , where the Polish star was a guest.

The two have also faced each other on the court. Eala scored a win over Swiatek at the Miami Open last year , while the Polish player came out on top in their rematch in Madrid in April 2025 .

Eala is preparing for the Linz Open , a clay-court tournament, while Swiatek recently hired Rafael Nadal’s former coach, Francisco Roig , ahead of her upcoming campaign in Stuttgart, Germany.
