Karl Eldrew Yulo earns second bronze in Cairo, takes podium in horizontal bar

Karl Eldrew Yulo secured the bronze medal in the horizontal bar finals at the Cairo leg of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Egypt on Monday, marking another podium finish for the Filipino gymnast.

This is Yulo’s second bronze medal in Cairo, following his third-place finish in the floor exercise finals on Sunday.

He posted a score of 13.733 to place third, behind China’s Li Hongyan, who took gold with 14.400, and Cyprus’ Marios Georgiou, who earned silver with 13.900.

Yulo previously captured the gold medal in the floor exercise during the Antalya leg of the World Cup last month.

The next stop of the Gymnastics World Cup series is set for Osijek, Croatia, later this week.
