Linz Open: Alex Eala’s ranking points and prize money

Alexandra “Alex” Eala has concluded her campaign at the Upper Austria Ladies Linz Open after Jelena Ostapenko staged a comeback victory in the Round of 16.

Despite trailing 1-5 in the second set, Ostapenko rallied to secure a 6-4, 7-5 win and advance to the quarterfinals.

Prior to this match, Eala delivered a strong performance against Julia Grabher, winning 6-4, 6-3.

With her Round of 16 finish, Eala earned 60 ranking points, adding to her overall total.

She also took home €15,690 in prize money. Before this tournament, Eala had accumulated $487,364 in earnings for the year.

Eala is expected to compete next at the Stuttgart Open.
