Karl Eldrew Yulo advances to floor exercise finals at Gymnastics World Cup Croatia leg

Karl Eldrew Yulo secured another chance to contend for a podium finish after advancing to the floor exercise finals of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup leg in Osijek, Croatia.

Yulo delivered an impressive performance in Thursday’s qualifiers, posting a score of 14.200 to place second just behind the United States’ Kameron Nelson who had 14.300.

The Filipino gymnast has been in the finals of the previous legs of the World Cup series, having also reached it in Baku, Antalya, and Cairo. He previously clinched a gold medal in Turkiye and earned a bronze in Egypt for the said event.

Qualifying rounds for the remaining apparatuses are scheduled to take place on Friday.
