Seoul Cycling Team tops Tour of Luzon team time trial

South Korea’s Seoul Cycling Team ruled the team time trial in Stage 2 of the Tour of Luzon on Thursday.

The stage covered a 43.4-kilometer route from Clark, Pampanga to New Clark City in Tarlac.

Composed of Kyeongho Min, Wooho Jung, Junghon Lee, Uimin Lee, Jingu Lee, Aseom Cha, and Yoonmin King, the Seoul Cycling Team clocked 56 minutes and 35 seconds to emerge as the top squad in the stage.

The Philippines’ Excellent Noodles Cycling Team finished second, 33 seconds behind the winners, while Standard Insurance Philippines came in third, trailing by 55 seconds.

The race resumes on Friday with Stage 3, a 145.4-kilometer road race from New Clark City to Palayan City in Nueva Ecija.
