DeokJin Seo defeats Henry Anduque in URCC

South Korean fighter DeokJin Seo defeated Filipino Henry Anduque via unanimous decision in a URCC heavyweight bout held last April 16 in Quezon City.

Seo’s victory sets up a title clash against Sugar Ray Estroso for the heavyweight championship.

“Great win. I focused on my counters and I’m happy to get the win and challenge one of the country’s heavyweight fighters, Sugar ‘The Mammoth’ Estroso,” Seo said. “I will train hard for this.”

Rufino Mante and Albert Patindol also secured victories in their respective bouts on the same card.

Mante scored a third-round technical knockout win over Arsenio Balisacan in their bantamweight bout, while Patindol submitted Rene Catalan in the second round of their flyweight match.

Catalan, however, has contested the result and is calling for a rematch.
