Ritchie Estampador, Maricar Camacho rule SpongeBob Run
Ritchie Estampador and Maricar Camacho emerged as the top finishers in the SpongeBob Run held last Sunday at Ayala Triangle Gardens.
Estampador ruled the men's 10K race after clocking 34 minutes and 18 seconds, while Camacho topped the women's division with a time of 42:41.
Edgar Lee (34:51) and Neil Maramba (35:04) rounded out the top three in the men's 10K event. In the women's category, Jocelyn Elijeran (44:48) and Elena Camu (48:39) finished behind Camacho.
Cavin Vidal dominated the men's 5K race with a time of 16:52, followed by Kristoffer Troy Sison (18:45) and Edwin Garcia (20:50). On the women's side, Melody Lantad topped the field in 21:58, with Michelle Manuel (24:49) and Joana Dres (24:53) completing the podium.
In the men's 3K race, Mark Angelo Biagtan crossed the finish line first in 9:51, ahead of Patrick James Axon (11:42) and Ganimir Alvarez (11:48). Jo Punay ruled the women's division with a time of 12:03, followed by Paula Vina Tuazon (13:06) and Karla Marie Superiano (13:11).
Dustine Sicad emerged as the fastest boy in the kids' 1K category after posting a time of 3:50. Francis Jamero (3:52) and Karl Ivan Julius Cameno (4:01) finished second and third, respectively. In the girls' division, Xeanne Baarde topped the field in 4:10, followed by Jonesa Rafol (6:01) and Cindy Labaro (6:37).
