Lewis Hamilton on first win with Ferrari: 'Dream the impossible'
Lewis Hamilton has made it: He is now a Formula 1 race winner as a Ferrari driver.
On Sunday night (Philippine time), the seven-time Formula 1 world champion stood atop the podium at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix for the first time in Ferrari red.
On Instagram, Lewis said he could not even begin to describe "how amazing it feels to finally win in red."
“Dream the impossible,” he wrote, adding that he dedicates his first Ferrari win to his fans.
“I could not have made it to this moment without the support from you all,” Lewis said.
“You all told me to remember,” he added. “To remember to fight, to remember to keep going. To remember who I am.”
The last time Lewis won an F1 race was in 2024, when he was still driving for Mercedes.
Earlier in June, Kim Kardashian showed her support for Lewis by attending the Monaco Grand Prix, following the couple's Instagram hard launch.
The pair sparked dating rumors after a "romantic meetup" in Paris in early February, according to a People report.
In March, People also confirmed that Kim and Lewis were vacationing together in Tokyo with her children.
