Carlos Yulo captures gold, brother Eldrew seizes bronze at Asian Gymnastics Championships
Brothers Carlos and Eldrew took the floor exercise event of the 2026 Asian Gymnastics Championships by storm, winning two of the three podium finishes on Saturday in Zunyi, China.
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos dropped an impressive 14.700 points to take home the gold medal while his younger brother Eldrew captured the bronze by finishing with 14.300 points
Japanese gymnast Shoma Tsukiyama seized the silver medal to complete the medalists.
Carlos and Eldrew both clinched tickets to the finals after the 26-year-old Carlos topped the qualifications with a 14.433 points while Eldrew collected 13.600 points to finish in eighth spot.
The Yulo brothers have also advanced to the finals of the horizontal bar, while Carlos will also compete in the parallel bars finals.
