Hidilyn Diaz's niece Alexsandra Ann wins 3 golds, sets records at World Youth Weightlifting Championships
Alexsandra Ann Diaz, the 15-year-old niece of Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz, delivered a record-breaking performance at the World Youth Weightlifting Championships in Colombia.
Competing in the girls' 48kg division, Alexsandra lifted 77kg in the snatch before setting a new championship record with a 98kg lift in the clean and jerk. Her combined total of 175kg also established a new championship record.
The impressive lifts earned Alexsandra three gold medals, one each from snatch, clean and jerk, and total.

Other weightlifters also bagged medals from the competition.
Jay Colonia captured a gold medal in the clean and jerk (140kg) and added two silvers in the snatch (109kg) and total (249kg) in the boys' 56kg division.
Jhodie Peralta also won two silver medals after lifting 85kg in the snatch and posting a total of 188kg in the girls' 53kg division.
Meanwhile, 14-year-old Althea Bacaro earned a silver in the clean and jerk (80kg) and a bronze in the total (140kg) in the girls' 44kg class, while Kirby Kent Alas-as claimed silver in the boys' 60kg snatch with a 113kg lift.
