MLBB: Team Liquid PH eliminated from MSC after bowing to Entity7
Team Liquid has been denied a title repeat at the 2026 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup after absorbing a 2-0 loss to Entity7 in the lower bracket quarterfinals on Saturday in Paris.
The Cavalry's reign came crashing down with a second straight sweep defeat, after also losing in the same fashion to the surging Aurora Türkiye, to end its title defense and exit the prestigious tournament winless.
With Team Liquid out of contention, the Philippine representatives' fate now lies at the hands of Team Falcons, which was also relegated to the lower bracket after losing to Team Vitality.
Entity7, a team based in Peru, outplayed Team Liquid right from the get-go with its jungler Facundo "HideOnBush" Ledesma (Barats) securing all Turtle and Lord objectives in Game 1 and leaving none for his counterpart Karl "KarlTzy" Napomuceno (Hirara), who is touted the greatest MLBB player of all time.
A crucial triple kill from exp laner Nicolas "Akashi" Sanches (Freya) during the final Lord clash paved the way for the base siege as Entity7 drew first blood and gave Team Liquid something to ponder on heading into Game 2.
Team Liquid did adjust in the next game with its draft picks as midlaner Alston "Sanji" Pabico unleashed two early kills on his Valentina.
However, Entity7 slowly changed the complexion of the match when HideOnBush once again wreaked havoc, this time using Ling on the jungle. Team Liquid PH managed to extend the game, but Entity7 committed to the final push, locking down the base to complete the stunning upset and hand the Philippines its earliest exit in either MSC or M-Series history.
Entity7 will look to seal its playoff spot when it clashes with Cambodia's PRO Esports in the next round.
