Alex Eala vs. Jessica Pegula DC Open final suspended for the day
Play for the DC Open, including the women's final between Alex Eala and Jessica Pegula, has been suspended for the day.
The match is scheduled to resume at 12 a.m. (Philippine time) on Tuesday with Pegula leading 6-4, 1-2 in the second set.
Matches have been cancelled for tonight.

The women’s singles final will now take place at 12:00pm tomorrow.
The men’s singles final will take place not before 1:00pm tomorrow. Ticketing information to come soon.
The match was originally scheduled to begin at 12 a.m. (Philippine time) on Monday but got underway only around 3 a.m. after a rain and lightning delay.
Pegula led 6-4, 2-1 when play was suspended again at around 4 a.m. due to the continuing inclement weather.
The resumption time was delayed multiple times before play was officially suspended for the rest of the day.

The men's final between Taylor Fritz and Rafael Jodar will be played after the women's final, but not before 1 a.m.
