Alex Eala at the DC Open: Ranking points and prize money earned

Alexandra “Alex” Eala has concluded her campaign at the DC Open, gaining not only her first WTA Tour title but also significant ranking points and prize money from the WTA 500 tournament.

By winning the WTA 500 title, Eala earned 500 ranking points, a haul expected to improve her current world ranking of No. 28.

Aside from the ranking points, Eala will also take home $252,000 in prize money or over Php15 million.

Before the DC Open, Eala had already earned $1,285,330 in prize money this year alone.

Eala will next compete at the Canadian Open, a WTA 1000 event.
