UP Fighting Maroon volleybelle is the first Summa Cum Laude graduate from the College of Human Kinetics.

According to a post on the UP Diliman website on Monday, Katherine Adrielle R. Bersola, with an average of 1.18 will graduate on Sunday with a degree of Bachelor of Sports Science from the College of Human Kinetics.

Summa cum laude is the university’s highest academic distinction for graduation for graduates who earn a weighted average grade of 1.20 or better.

Bersola is among this year's 36 summa cum laude graduates from the institution.

The Asian Institute of Tourism also has its first summa cum laude in Jennifer B. Rucio, a Bachelor of Science in Tourism graduate, who has an average of 1.173.

UP Diliman's 106th General Commencement Exercises will be held on June 25, 7 a.m. at the University Ampitheater in Quezon City. — BAP, GMA News
