Tigresses trump Lady Warriors for first win

The UST Tigresses bounced back from its five-set thriller against the DLSU Lady Spikers, cruising to a 25-17 25-15 25-21 victory against the UE Lady Warriors on Wednesday.

The Tigresses bowed DLSU Lady Spikers in a grueling 5-set game last Saturday.

Sisi Ronda once against powered UST with her steady offense, hitting 20 points off 19 kills. Dimdim Pacres, meanwhile, added eight, while Minella Alessandrini added six attack points.

The Lady Tigresses dominated UE in attack points, 40-27.

Mary Ann Mendrez paced UE with 10 points off eight kills, while Judith Abil added nine with seven attack points and two aces.
