Lady Tams bounce back, dominate UP

The FEU Lady Tamaraws bounced back from their heartbreaking loss to the DLSU Lady Spikers, dominating the UP Lady Maroons, 25-23 25-12 25-19 on Saturday.

Heather Guino-o led FEU with 11 kills, while Toni Rose Basas chipped in 10 off eight attack points. Team captain Bernadeth Pons scored nine with eight more kills.

Diana Carlos paced UP with 15 points off 14 kills, but she got little help from the rest of the squad. Only five other UP players scored, with each scoring not more than four points each.Isa Molde was limited to four points, while Marian Buitre added just one.

With the win, FEU now improved to 2-2, while UP sank to seventh place, just ahead of winless UE. — DVM, GMA News
