Lady Tams finish Lady Warriors in 4

The FEU Lady Tamaraws kept the UE Lady Warriors winless on Saturday after registering a 25-20 25-17 24-26 25-22 victory on Saturday.

Team captain Bernadeth Pons tallied 21 points - all off kills - to lead FEU, while Celine Domingo added 19 off 11 kills, six blocks, and two aces. Heather Guino-o and Toni Rose Basas rounded up the Lady Tams in double figures with 12 points each.

FEU outclassed UE in attack points, 63-42. The Morayta-based squad also collected points off their steady blocking, converting 12 to UE's five.

Mary Ann Mendrez paced UE with 21 points, while Shaya Adorador added 18. The two combined for 33 of UE's 42 kills.

With the win, FEU improved to 3-2 while UE sank to 0-6. — DVM, GMA News
