Lady Tams lock down Rondina en route to straight sets win

The FEU Lady Tamaraws took advantage of a struggling UST squad, securing a 25-21 25-21 25-23 victory on Wednesday.

The Lady Tams barely edged UST in attack points, 31-28, but they tallied 19 big service aces to UST’s seven to bring home the victory.

Team Captain Bernadette Pons led FEU with 15 points off 13 attacks, while Toni Rose Basas and Heather Guino-o chipped in 10 and nine points, respectively.

For UST, meanwhile, only Sisi Rondina scored in double figures, but the super scorer was limited to just 11 points off 10 kills. Dimdim Paces added eight. — BAP, GMA News
