Rondina rises anew as UST routs UP

The UST Lady Tigresses snapped out of their slump on Saturday, earning a 19-25 30-28 25-20 25-16 win against the UP Lady Maroons in the UAAP Women’s Volleyball tournament.

Sisi Rondina found her rhythm in this match, leading his team with 25 points off 24 kills and an ace. She also had a lo of help from Milena Alessandrini who scored 20 points off 14 attack points and six blocks.

Dianna Carlos paced UP with 24 points off 21 kills, while Isa Molde chipped in 18 off 15 attack points and two blocks.

With the win, UST improved to tie UP with a 3-7 win-loss card, just behind Adamson (3-5) and ahead of UE (2-6). — DVM, GMA News
