NU falls anew, this time to UP

The UP Lady Maroons pounced on a struggling NU squad for a 25-18 25-22 25-20 victory at the FilOil Flying V Center in San Juan.

Team captain Tots Carlos led UP with 18 points off 14 kills and four aces, while Isa Molde added 10 markers off six kills and four aces.

The Lady Maroons were on point on the offensive end, outplaying NU 34-24 in attack points. The Diliman-based squad also took care of their service, scoring off 12 aces to NU’s six.

Jaja Santiago again carried the Lady Bulldogs with 19 points with 15 kills and three aces. The rest of the team, however, combined for 16 more.

With the win, UP improved to tie UST with a 4-8 win-loss card, while NU dropped to 6-6.
